Donor's Edge, supported by Greater Kansas City Community
Foundation  is a great online resource to inform and link those
who are interested in charitable giving with the organizations
that best match their passions in the geographic area they hope
to impact.  SCN has a scant minute long video that is a great
glimpse of our mission and our love for older adults in the
Northland of Kansas City.  Take just a minute, literally, and watch it!

May is Older Americans Month
This years theme is a great one!  “Never Too Old To Play” is intended to encourage older Americans to stay engaged, active & involved not only in our own lives but in the life of our communities as well.   SCN volunteers have that mastered—giving generously of your time to help others improve their quality of life.  ———But what do you do to play?  We would love to hear how you enjoy spending your “PLAY” time.  Hobbies, fishing, sewing, traveling…..just what do you do to relax and nourish your inner child?!  L
eave a comment!  I’ll let you know  in the next newsletter how you play!  Perhaps, you will be inspirational to someone else!
