Colorado Rail Trip September 20-25th
Cost is$760 with Insurance included
$60 deposit to register and final payment by August 15th.
This trip will begin with a day long trip to Colorado Springs with Arrow Coach.
The next morning we will tour the Garden of the Gods and ride to the top of
Pikes Peak on the Pikes Peak Cog Railway --Lunch will be at Manitou Springs
After a 2nd night at Colorado Springs we will head to Canon City & ride the
Vista Dome of the Royal Gorge Route Railroad and enjoy lunch on board and
then continue on for a 2 night stay in Durang & and trip on the
Durango-Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad. As we begin the trek home we will
stop in Pueblo, CO at the Rosemount Museum and 1893 built Mansion for a tour
and lunch in the Carriage House.
We overnight in Limon, CO and on the way home we stop at the
Cathedral of the Plains in Victoria, Kansas. It is known as one of the
8 wonders of Kansas and was built in 1912.
